Notice: There is no more Poseidon fight from 18/07/2015.
Poseidon is a Boss Battle event in the game. This event happens twice a day, at 10:08 and at 20:08, Server Time, but each player can only challenge it once a day. To challenge him you first need to beat the Cyclops King. The event ends 2015-07-17 due to a story (Poseidon's scheme is stopped by Zeus). This will unlock another boss.
Poseidon in Deep Sea.
In this PVP event, you compete against all players in your Battle Group to make the most damage to an impressive monster. You attack with your soldiers, but never lose any like with the Fighting Pits. You will repeatedly go to battle against it (only to be crushed in a set time), and all damage you make to it is accumulated until the boss is defeated.
You can go up against the boss once each 40 seconds. You can skip this cooldown for 5 diamonds. You can skip the boss battle animation at no cost (this is recommended since it may take longer than the cooldown). When you skip the animation, you still deal the same damage as had you not skipped.
You can use the "Morale Drums" to increase your Battle Power by 20% each time (maximum 100% bonus from morale).
- 250 Honor Star: 35% of getting the boost. Don't. It's not economical for most players (unless you are realistically going to rank). You are here to win Honor, not to spend it.
- 10 Diamonds: 100% of getting the boost.
The event is scheduled to last for 12 minutes, first 2 minutes for preparation and start battle, but despite the huge health pool of the boss, it is usually defeated in a smaller time frame. Because of server lag and huge number of participants, depending on your physical location you may be unable to enter the battle for the first 30-40 seconds.
Sometimes, when it's reduced its level too much, it will continue to fight again in a certain time before it's replaced with another boss.
Health
Each Battle Group boss is different. The health difference between levels should be significantly more than with Cyclops King.
- If boss was defeated last time, then it will go up 1 level.
- If boss was not defeated last time, then it will go down 1 level, until it is back to level 1.

Rewards
Players are rewarded as follows.
Participation
- For each time you go against the boss in battle: a small amount of gold and Honor Stars.
- For battling at least 1 time:
- 1000 + (lvl boss - 1) × 10 gold and 200 + (lvl boss - 1) × 2 Honor Stars
- On AG, at least since 2015-05-25, there is no -1 on boss level.
- 1000 + (lvl boss - 1) × 10 gold and 200 + (lvl boss - 1) × 2 Honor Stars

- For the three highest damage dealers:
- 1st: 5000 + (lvl boss - 1) × 50 gold, 1000 + (lvl boss - 1) × 10 Honor Stars, 5x Grindstone, and a Chest [1]
- 2nd: 4000 + (lvl boss - 1) × 40 gold, 750 + (lvl boss - 1) × 8 Honor Stars, 4x Grindstone, and a Chest[1]
- 3rd: 3000 + (lvl boss - 1) × 30 gold, 500 + (lvl boss - 1) × 6 Honor Stars, 2x Grindstone, and a Chest[1]
- Rest of top 10 (4th to 10th top damage dealers):
- 2000 + (lvl boss - 1) × 20 gold, 300 + (lvl boss - 1) × 4 Honor Stars, 1x grindstone
Killing Blow
If Poseidon wasn't defeated, no players will receive the killing reward. The player killing Poseidon is usually not one of the highest damage dealers.

Poseidon's Chest
This chest contains four items, all of which you might obtain when it´s opened:
Poseidon´s Remnant have a 100% chance of dropping.
The remnants are shard used to craft Poseidon's gear, they require 50 shards each.

Poseidon is also a boss in Deep Sea. He can summon many Leviathans at once. Before you fought him, he was corrupted by a Parasitic Monster (unconfirmed) that forces him to ruin the balance of the sea. After he was defeated, he returned to normal. He appears in Ultimate Fantasy. This is the only boss with Magic Damage and Magic Armor.
Poseidon also has Evil Doctor Gorlu build SZ888, the greatest war machine to conquer the Kingdom.
He's also the seventh boss on Blitz Acres Wave 70 and has an ability to revive himself once when he was killed.
Be careful in Blitz Acres, there are 5 Poseidons at once and you'll have to rely a lot on Durin or high-damage towers.
